Uploading to Dad's BlueBerry

Dad is brilliant, granted. It takes brilliance to outshine every other person in your field of work and wow many critics [and children]. Despite all of this my dad still does not grasp the importance of texting. Why send a message when you can just call and have a conversation?!!
Dad just got a BlackBerry for work. The small qwerty keyboard? Pointless. I can use it to upload my information to my calendar! Yeah. It was made for texting!!! :] anyway...right now I'm uploading a bajillion and seven audio books onto it for him for scout camp. I don't mind too much though, I love sharing the classics with him. DeFoe, Jack London...and maybe I should sneak some Jane Austen on---for his own good!!!
My computer...slow.....
I could pull out a trusty novel..but there is something somewhat cathartic in blogging. hmmm...

Summer this far has been--trustworthy. Previous summers, not so much. Perhaps I have grown too much for the mystery? Summer used to be filled with so many untold promises...such wonder..the last day of school was such a rush; so exhilerating--now..just; another day. The greatest excitement I felt was finding out I didn't have my history final.
Now, its job; sleep; eat; eat; eat; play; play; read;read;read; bubble baths; work; clean; not so many mysteries.
Maybe I need to make my own.
Shall I fly on a trip? The mountains? Hawaii? Oh--I shall be in Hawaii soon enough.
Shall I commit an international crime? Kidnap a ridiculously wealthy shiek only to return him unharmed---or take down each and every one of the Somali pirates myself? I would not kill them..only put them to work cleaning the latrines at camp--and pay them enough to send home to their families.

I shall drink a gallon of apple juice every day! (well..maybe just eat an apple every day!)
I will get my refund for that blasted sweet goldfish that kicked the bucket just two days after I got him!!! Dumb southern well water.

But, most importantly of all, I will take advantage of each and every opportunity for new adventures as they arise. After all, if I have learned anything from my life, it is most certainly that adventures are disguised as boring, mundane duties..and just being prompt, and completing a duty can have you meeting some very interesting people [and getting some nifty autographs along the way]
