Everything together.
MIRIAM'S BAAAACCCKKK!!!!!
I needed her so badly.
Went and saw The Time Traveler's Wife. Iffy. I do love a good sci-fi..but sci-fi/chick flick is really reaching. It was pretty odd. I'll have to read the book, I heard it's better. But, it's probably the best thing in theatres right now, (assuming Harry Potter is no longer out).
And for all intensive purposes of teenage lolligagging and twitterpation:

It's Jacob. In various levels of clothing. :-]
The zoo was fantastic/fantabulous/butt hurting.
It was dreadful hot. We went right at nine as it opened, to see the animals fed..washed..active. BUT IT WAS SO SO SO nasty hot. When we were younger, we would stay at the zoo all day long, but we wimped out by 11, after the extremely brief and crowded Sea Lion 101 show.
But the fun...
Forrest and Becca guilt tripped us into Hermann Park. They each had a face on that read "You're depriving me of endless memories as a child! Don't leave because you are selfish grown-ups" [JUST like those starving kids on the KidSponsor commercials].
It was wicked fun, they each had a tonka tractor, and pulled them to the top of the hill...then wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! And, I squashed my small-for-teenager butt into the back of one...wasn't even ready before I'm careening down the hill and land in a mulch pile. Screaming fun. After about ten trips total, we gave up and left. Pretty uneventful stuff..but just happy. The car did almost run out of gas stuck in traffic in Houston..but we said a prayer, and made it all the way to Baytown! Other than the A/C being iffy [I'm thankful for it just the same], my baby is running like new. (Let's see...I would have been two years old to give birth to Stitches].
Sunday, Mom finally let me drive the Miata halfway home. Didn't die..didn't crash! :-] She wouldn't let me go into 6th gear. She thinks I have some need for speed. Really, its exciting for me to go 80. My car can only get up to 70.
Goobers. Computer's dying. Later!
